Letter Hunt

The Pre-K have been having PE outside since the weather has been so nice. Today we went out and had a Letter Hunt. They had a blast and had a review of the alphabet as well.

Lacrosse

Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the United States. It's an amazing sport and helps with speed, agility, and teamwork. It is the fastest game to be played on two feet. The game was originally used to toughen up young men for war. There could be anywhere from 100-1000 players on one team. The kids really enjoy playing and have a lot of fun while being physically active.

Team Building Skills

A very important part of PE is learning how to be a team player and be cooperative. Today 2nd-5th grade had an opportunity to work together to solve a variety of challenging tasks. Lots of strategic planning and problem solving helped them complete these tasks.

Speed Stacking

2nd-8th grade had a chance to learn how to speed stack during our rainy days at our Shakespeare week. There are amazing benefits to speed stacking and the kids really enjoyed it.

Health Fair!

The middle school did an amazing job with their health fair project! This project was a great community outreach experience for the middle school. They had an opportunity to pick a topic they felt passionate about and educated the whole school with an abundance of information.
